Apple’s smart screen faces Siri Delay Blow
Last week, Apple revealed that the Siri reviewed by AI faced delays, and now there are reports that this is having a blow effect on the smart home.
Apple has been a bit quiet on the Hardware Front Smart Home, the last Homepod released in early 2023 and we have not had a new Apple TV model for more than 2 years, but in September last year it was supposed to be ready to change, with two new intelligent screen devices established to be in the pipe.
But now, the same respected Tipster that spilled those beans, has revealed details of a setback.
Mark Gurman, about Bloomberg, has stated that “the company hoped to announce this product in March … but because the device, to some extent, depends on the delayed Siri capabilities, has also postponed.”
Those delays of Siri, in case you are not up to date with the latest Apple Park, were detailed to tie the fireball of Apple Jacqueline Roy’s fire spokeswoman:
“Siri helps our users to find what they need and do things quickly, and in the last six months, we have made Siri more conversational, introduced new features such as Siri type and knowledge of the product, and added an integration with chatgpt. We have also been working on a more personalized Siri, giving you more awareness of your personal context, as well as the ability to take measures for you within and in your applications. It will take more time than we think about delivering these characteristics and anticipating implementing them in next year. “
What has been delayed in the front of the Smart House has not been confirmed, but Gurman has previously reported in a home concentrator mounted on the wall, as an Eco -flavored concentrator with apple flavor, which “can control the appliances, handle videoconferences and use AI to navigate in applications.”
It is said that the new Hub Smart Home Hub of Apple has intelligence of AI and is supposed to be a priority for the CEO Tim Cook, since he tries to catch up with people like Google, and especially Amazon, who have stolen a march when it comes to intelligent domestic control.
Siri, of course, will be available for voice controls, hence the delay, should be able to control all its devices connected to Homekit, either by voice commands or touching the screen.
Gurman has also mentioned a more expensive version in the future, with a name in J595 code, which is said to be a high -end smart screen with a robotic limb, combining the functionality of an iPad with a futuristic touch.
Amazon has stolen a bit of a march again in Apple, if these reports are true, since it recently removed the covers of a version of Aixa, called Alexa+, which will be implemented in the coming weeks.
