These incredible deals make high-end iPad Pro models more available than ever
A few weeks ago, I was browsing Apple deals on Amazon (yes). The high-end iPad pros, especially the 12.9-inch model, are surprisingly cheap. I saw an M1 model with 1TB and cellular for under $700.
Given that the iPados 19 rumors have “become like MACOS”, we thought these deals were worth sharing as the massive overhaul to be announced at WWDC next month.
First off, it is worth noting that little is known about the rumored iPados 19 overhaul that is due to be announced next month. So I would like to make this the preface. Perhaps it’s not just because you’ll need it if you need it anyway, but that might come later, as it’s not just because you’re mentioned here.
Given some of Apple’s latest software decisions, it’s pretty speculated to say that adding software worthy of attention will likely require an M1 chip or a new one. So these recommendations start there.
Updated M1 iPad Pro Trading
Amazon has a rather robust renovation program called “Amazon Renewed,” which offers a variety of second-hand, cleaning and testing electronics. There is also a 90-day return window if any issues arise.
In 2021, Apple introduced the M1 iPad Pro model, with many notable upgrades. I brought Thunderbolt to my iPad for the first time. It turned towards the 12.9-inch model, a central stage, an ultra-width camera heading towards all new 12MP fronts with 5G connectivity, and all the new mini-driven displays that Apple calls the “Liquid Retina XDR.” The display offers peak brightness up to 1600 nits.

Since the 2018 redesign, it was certainly one of the first major iPad Pro overhauls. With the iPad coming a few years ago, there are some notable deals! All models listed are in excellent condition:
Even if you don’t necessarily need storage, we highly recommend getting at least a 1TB model compared to 8GB for models under 512GB. If you want to save extra money, you can also pick up 128GB for $559, 256GB for $579, and 512GB for $609.
Unfortunately, the 11-inch model trade is not incredible, but if you’re interested, it’s here.
Updated M2 iPad Pro trading
The M2 iPad Pro is pretty similar to the M1 model, with the main differentiator being support for the Apple Pencil Hover. The Apple Pencil Hover allows you to preview exactly where your Apple Pencil lands on the display, making it even more accurate. Some third-party apps also have special features that work with the Apple Pencil Hover. The M2 iPad Pro also supports the new Wi-Fi 6E standard.

If that feature sounds appealing to you, or if you want an even newer iPad without breaking the bank, the M2 iPad Pro is a great choice for you.
Given the minimal pricing differences, it is best to surge higher if possible. Currently, there are no convincing deals on the 11-inch M2 model. All of these are listed in excellent condition, with an extended 90-day return window in case something goes wrong.
If your keyboard and trackpad case needs to go with the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the Logitech Combo Touch is a great pairing for just $142.99.
Updated iPad Air Trading
While the focus is on the M1 and M2 iPad pros here, I thought it was worth mentioning Apple’s recent iPad Air model. You’ll compromise on display, connectivity and speakers, but otherwise you’ll save a lot of changes. Unlike iPad pros, iPads come in a variety of colors.

Updated M1 iPad Air Trading:
At the time of writing, there are no notable deals on the updated M2 iPad Air model.
summary
I was certainly impressed by how affordable these updated iPad models are. It’s easy to get caught up in the latest and greatest, but in the end it costs a little more. These updated transactions will save you a significant amount of money while you’re behind one or two generations.
To make these transactions in context, if you want to pick up a new M4 13-inch iPad Pro with 1TB of storage and 16GB of memory, you’re currently running $1699 on Amazon. They have the same specifications, but are they older M2 models? Only $759. It’s almost $1,000 less, as it’s still an incredible iPad model.
As mentioned at the beginning, don’t buy an iPad just for the rumored ones. However, if your iPad exists today and you’ve been looking at upgrades, these deals are pretty appealing.
Apple Pencil 2 All pairs of these iPad models can pick it up for just $99 today.
