Xiaomi X20 Pro: Introduction

It does not seem so long ago that the budgetary vacuum cleaners were silly devices that would bounce, randomly cleaning as they advanced.

Today, the Xiaomi X20 Pro can have a low -end price, but it is a totally outstanding robot vacuum, equipped with adequate navigation, a self -assessment and self -mitter station, and deep trapener capabilities.

Of course, the characteristics of suction and avoidance of high -power obstacles that flashies flask, such as Roborock Saros 10, have, but at this price, it is a bargain.

Design and components

It is difficult to declare what treatment is the Xiaomi X20 Pro.

Roborock Q5 Pro is a quality vacuum, but for a little more effective, you can obtain the X20 Pro, which shows immediately how different it is when sending with a self -fulfilling and self -denominated coupling station.

This is the type of station that I normally hope to see in much more expensive models, so it is a revaluation at this price.

This coupling station has a 4 -liter clean water tank and a 3.8 -liter dirty water tank, which means approximately that for each clean tank I had to empty the dirty tank.

This coupling station does not have detergent, and only the most expensive models, such as Dreame X50 Ultra Complete have this.

The Earth is absorbed from the robot and in the 2-liter self-select dust bag. Xiaomi says this can contain up to 75 days of land.

While the coupling station is impressive, the main robot is not contained, with adequate lidar navigation through the dome in the front. This helps the Xiaomi X20 pro to sail and map quickly.

This robot lacks a camera, so it cannot detect and avoid common obstacles, such as shoes or cables. You will have to make a bit of ordering before establishing this robot about your business, but that is not a great difficulty.

Within the robot there is a standard container, which takes the washable filter. It is worth washing once a month to maintain the highest levels of suction power.

Below, there is a standard design, with a single brush roll, a side brush that does not move.

Nor are non -slip models, and the hair was wrapped when I used them, so you should monitor the situation and use the tool provided to cut tangled hair.

They are present dual microfiber mumps pads, and these can lift up to 10 mm from the ground, allowing the robot to sail for most short battery carpets.

If you have a deep battery carpet, you will want a robot that can leave your grimace cloths, such as Dreame X50 Ultra Complete or the Robrock Saros 10R and Saros 10.

The application

You control the Xiaomi X20 Pro through Xiaomi Mi Home, which is the home of all the smart products of the company.

It is also the application that was used for the initial Roborock products, so it has been home to robots cleaners for a long time.

As with other cleaners, once the Xiaomi X20 Pro is connected to Wi-Fi, the application makes a fast mapping execution.

Thanks to Lidar, this work is fast, and the application suggests room designs. It was an incorrect touch for my map, but the controls facilitated the division and merge the rooms so that they coincide with the design of my home.

Unusually at this price, you could also add furniture to the design. It is worth doing it, especially for things like dining tables, since furniture can be selected as a quick area, for example, to clean after eating.

Non-log areas and non-Mop are available to prevent the Xiaomi X20 Pro going to the areas that you do not want to do so, or to block an area that can cause problems.

Cleaning options include selecting the entire house, a room (or rooms) or areas that you draw or believe you playing furniture.

Then there is a alone, empty and mirror aspiration option, aspirator before moppering or mop only.

There are no automatic cleaning modes, and the Xiaomi X20 Pro offers four manual vacuum power modes (silence, standard, strong and turbo), three levels of water to mop and three routing routes (fast, standard and deep).

There is not much on the path of advanced configuration, with the main automatic carpet recognition option, with an automatic impulse of soft floors.

Performance

The void of the Xiaomi X20 Pro has a power of 5000PA, which is approximately half of the one of the most expensive middle range cleaners, such as the roborock qrevo Slim.

The performance, as expected, is a bit mixed.

On the carpet, the general disorder is fine, but the Xiaomi X20 Pro fights with deeper spills and cannot clean directly in the fibers. The performance in the hard floors is significantly better, since it is a more manageable task, and even the cleaning of edges is effective.

The performance of the mop is excellent for the price: standard floor spots are annihilated, but the maps system fights with sticky disorder, such as ketchup.

To eliminate this type of spots, you need a robot that uses hot water and detergent.

The battery life is cited at 180 minutes in the lowest configuration. This translates not having to worry about the battery life. I easily cleaned my whole floor with two passes, and there was energy for specific works.
