After Luon’s speculation, Apple officially confirmed earlier this year that Ted Lasso was back in its fourth season. Now, actress Hannah Wadindam is sharing new details about the production timeline, as reported by deadline.

In an interview with Capital FM, Waddingham, who plays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, praised the show’s writing team.

“Our writers are literally Jedi Knight, and we’ve become like a full room of real feminist men… you’re really seeing it in the script.”

She added that the new season began filming in July, reflecting a recent statement from co-star Brett Goldstein regarding the show’s revival.

“We thought we had grieved our losses, but now we are raised from the dead!”

Waddingham is one of the original cast members who have been confirmed to return to Japan, along with Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple and Jeremy Swift.

New season, new focus

Ted Lasso was originally pitched as a three-season arc, but Apple renewed the series with the fourth season last year. A new run of the episode is expected to follow TED as he coaches a new challenge: a women’s soccer team.

In a recent press release on the show’s return, Jason Sudekis said:

“We all live in a world where so many factors are conditioned to us in Season 4 to “see before we jump,” so the people at AFC Richmond discover where they are where they land and that’s what they’re going to do. ”

There are no premier days yet for the new season, but you can catch up with seasons 1-3 on Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month, with television shows and movies such as Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, and Silo becoming a hit.
