Today, Apple officially unveiled the Macos 26. And yes, as rumored, it’s called Tahoe. But one of the first questions most Mac users always ask is: Does my Mac support it?? If that’s you, then this is the complete compatibility list.

In addition to the iOS 26, iPados 26 and the remaining renamed OS lineup, the Macos 26 brings a new liquid glass refresh look, a new continuity experience with phone apps and live activities, improved spotlights, and a new gaming app.

However, as expected, the system drops support for some older models. According to Apple’s official list, the complete list of Macs that can run MacOS Tahoe 26 is:

  • MacBook Pro with Apple Silicone (2020 and later)
  • MacBook Pro (16‑ Inch, 2019)
  • MacBook Pro (13‑inch, 2020, 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports)
  • MacBook Air with Apple Silicone (2020 or later)
  • iMac (2020 or later)
  • Mac Mini (2020 or later)
  • Mac Studio (2022 or later)
  • Mac Pro (2019 and later)
