Ever Trend Zone Apple launched Apple TV+ with The Fricky Drama The Morning Show starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. With the debut drama, which is about to enter its fourth season in September, Apple is doubling Aniston’s star power.
The streamer has announced that Aniston is the headline for a new ten-part drama entitled “I’m glad my mother has passed away.”
In the series, Aniston is set to play the role of McCurdy’s mother. The actress portraying 18-year-old McCurdy has not yet been cast. The show revolves around the unstable relationship between a child actor and an overwhelming mother.
McCurdy is deeply involved in adapting television. She produces and serves as a showrunner alongside Ali Kutcher. Apple Studios will produce it alongside Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters).
The series has not yet participated in production, so it is unlikely that it will premiere until late 2026 or 2027.
Before that, Aniston will headline Season 4 of the Morning Show, which will hit Apple TV+ on September 17th, 2025. Morning Show is one of Apple’s most viewed series and includes an almost endless cast list of famous Hollywood talents. Season 4 will have new additions such as Jeremy Irons and Marion Cotillard.
