How did we get our start?

Headquartered in Switzerland, Punkt. was established by Petter Neby in 2008 with the idea of bringing a breath of fresh air into the consumer electronics market. The designer Jasper Morrison was also on board from the very beginning.

Punkt. produces products characterised by effective minimalism in terms of both aesthetics and rôle, each made to do a specific job and do it well, but never to intrude.

The name Punkt. is taken from the Germanic word for ‘point’ or ‘full stop/period’, and was chosen to symbolise the way the company’s products are built around simplicity, clarity and focus.
