Apple Planning New Mac external display, MacBook, iPad, etc.
Apple is planning a busy start until 2026. New reports from Bloomberg Details about Apple’s efforts to update various iPhone, iPad and Mac models for the first half of 2026.
But perhaps the most exciting thing for many people is that Apple is also planning to release a new external display for its Mac next year.
What is this Bloomberg Working in the first half of 2026:
- New MacBook Pro with M5 chip, “The Last of Current Design”
- The new iPad Air with an M4 chip, but nothing else has changed
- A new entry-level iPad with a faster chip, but nothing else has changed
- New MacBook Air
- The iPhone 17e is equipped with an A19 chip with a similar design to the iPhone 16e
- New Mac external monitor
Mark Garman explains that Apple was the first to aim to release the new M5 MacBook Pro lineup. But internally, it appears that timeline is clearly shifting to the first half of 2026. The M5MacBook Pro is very similar to the current design, but Apple is reportedly planning a “movement towards new cases and OLEDs” for the M6 generation.
There is no details on what to expect from a new external monitor. This will be Apple’s first new external display since it released its studio display in 2022. Previous rumors suggest that Apple is working on multiple new external display products. evertrendzone We also report on the development of Apple, an external display with 7K resolution.
Finally, there is also a saga going on around Apple’s smart home display products. The device was originally scheduled to be released in the first half of 2025, but Garman has reported that it is “indefinitely behind” because it relies on features from Apple Intelligence that are not released. “The device could arrive early next year.” Bloomberg say.
Of course, Apple has plenty of other product updates later this year. These include the iPhone 17 lineup, the new Apple Watch, Apple Watch Ultra Updates, the updated Vision Pro with the M4 chip, and the updated iPad Pro lineup with the M5 chip.
