Apple Watch now has new features to help you stay active
Apple Watch recently learned a new method for customers who need to take a day, week, or month of rest without interrupting continuous activity. With watchOS 11 and iOS 18, users can temporarily suspend the Activity Ring and turn off a highly requested feature by our customers. Additionally, today’s watchOS 11.2 and iOS 18.2 releases include a new collection of benefits to help you stay motivated to workout and stay active throughout the day.
All Ring Close Awards
The activity ring consists of three goals: Move, Stand, and Workout. Stands and workouts were initially fixed at 12 hours and 30 minutes per day, but Apple has added the ability to customize these metrics in recent years. Kids can also set their own set of metrics using outdoor movement tracking time instead of calories burned.
Starting today, Apple Watch customers can unlock a new category of awards: All Rings Closed. As the name suggests, these awards are earned by closing all three activity rings over a number of milestone days.
After 365 days, 500 days, 1000 days, and even 3500 days, you can unlock new badges by closing all three rings. You can see your awards in the Fitness app (previously called Activities) on Apple Watch and iPhone.
Fun fact: Apple Watch first hit store shelves on April 24, 2015, and so far, its 3500th day has been the best perk for customers. It passed 3500 days on December 3rd. Expect new milestones to be unlocked as soon as they are available.
Luckily, the new All Ring Closed Award takes into account the number of days you’ve been in the ring. already All three rings are closed. What is the highest All Rings Closed milestone ever unlocked on Apple Watch?
