Apple’s F1 movie is expected to reach $300 million at the box office this weekend

Less than two weeks after its release, Apple’s Formula One film is about to surpass $300 million at the global box office. This examines your ambitions for a big screen release on the way topping with a combination of global summaries of all previous theatre runs.

I’m on track for a record run

Over the Formula 1 weekend, the film is estimated to have won around $145 million, bringing the $176 million opening weekend total overall form Total Moon, Napoleon, Algill and me to the moon.

To put things in perspective, this is not a record of Apple’s original films, but also the strongest opening of Brad Pitt’s career.

As reported now Financial Timesthe film is at a pace that comfortably surpasses the $517 million global box office revenue of Apple’s previous theatrical release.

Financial Times Also note that this box office gross may mark another theatrical milestone for Apple.

“Apple is also approaching another potential milestone. Make money from big-budget films. F1 is co-produced by Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment (now managed by French media group Mediawan) and Jerry Bruckheimer Films, with a production budget of over $200 million and a distribution cost estimated at over $50 million.”

When F1 becomes available for movies on Apple TV, the company has yet to officially announce its plans. However, you can find more information about the release window here.

Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 a month, with TV shows and movies such as Ted Lasso, Severance, Studios, Morning Shows, Shrinks and Silos being hits.
