Husqvarna has two new grass robots at the Automower 405xe Nera and Automower 305e Nera, in addition to improvements for older models and exciting times ahead
Husqvarna celebrates 30 years since he presented the first Robot lawn cutter, and with that birthday comes the launch of a couple of new models for its 2025 line, as well as a look at the company’s roadmap over the next few years.
The two new robot grass cutters include the Automower 405xe Nera and the Automower 305e Nera, and both expand the company without a boundary wire of the company. Both have the EDGECUT technology that allows a precise edge cut thanks to an additional rear cut disc.
The Automower 405xe Nera and Automower 305e Nera can cover 600m2 with an irregular cut, or 900m2 with systematic cut, the latter also occurs as an update of other Nera Robotic Species. It allows you to create a grass with a stamped design, such as football stripes, and Husqvarna says it can increase the capacity of the cutting area by 50%.
The two new automotive can handle slopes of up to 30%, offer cutting heights between 20 mm and 55 mm and both have an electric height adjustment. Both connect to the Automower application to control through a smartphone or tablet, both have an IPX5 rating so that they can wash them with a hose, and both offer the option of virtual or cable limits, or both.
The only difference between Automower 405xe Nera and Automower 305e Nera is that the first offers avoiding radar objects, while the second has no object avoidance technology. However, speaking of objects, Husqvarna also announced during his 30th birthday party event that he would present a camera in his robotic cortempted models that will come out in 2026.

The camera is training with AI, together with the human entrance, and can detect several different objects, as well as pets, animals and people. The atmosphere saw a live demonstration of this in one of the bases of Husqvarna in Jönköping, Sweden, and it is something that we will be happy to see these robots.
Last, but certainly no less important in Husqvarna residential ads was the introduction of the Husqvarna cloud that will allow an improved installation in its GPS models. An external reference station will no longer be necessary to obtain the cut without cable . .
Husqvarna does not have detailed prices in the new automobile models, or what models they will be compatible with the Husqvarna cloud system, but we know that the Automower 405xe Nera and the Automower 305e Nera will be launched in March, so it is not much longer wait.
