Affordable and easy to use, the Shark & Scrub steam steam automatic shark combines vapor flyers with dual microfiber pads to lift dirt without detergent. Your steam blast mode helps address stubborn stains easily, causing hard floors to look better. While it is not designed to collect solids and microfiber pads need exchange and washing once a cleaning is over, shark vapor is ideal for smaller hard floor spaces. He is small and needs to plug, but he has a blow.

  • Soft slide movement

  • Great stains elimination

  • Hot steam explosion for stubborn spots

  • Dual pads

  • Small water tank

  • No suction for solids

  • Non -wireless

Shark Automatic steam steam and scrub: introduction

Wireless hard floor cleaners that are aspirated and rubs simultaneously, such as Roborock, Mova X50 or Dyson V15s submarine, are gaining popularity … but they tend to be on the expensive side, they need a little maintenance is often quite complex to use.

The Thark Steam & Scrub Automatic Steam Mop with Steam Blaster (S8201UK model number), which I have in revision here, is a much simpler and more economical alternative.

Steamed with double -turn microfiber pads for efficient cleaning, while the Blster steam function directs a high pressure steam jet in stubborn spots.

Design and build

  • Three power modes
  • Drill
  • Removable water tank
  • Parents of Microfiber Dual Microfiber Maps

Looking very similar to the previous version of Shark Steam & Scrub Automatic Steam Mop (S6002uk), the new model takes a lot of what was great of his older brother, but adds a murderous feature.

Both ancient and new models work by pushing steam to rotating microfiber pads, but the newest S8201UK introduces the steam function.

Under the upper part of the handle, you will find a trigger to activate the new feature and, when it is thrown, the steam blast releases a concentrated explosion of vapor from a nozzle on the front of the head of the floor.

It is designed for spots at less than 5-10 cm from the nozzle, and Shark recommends spraying and waiting for a few seconds before continuing to clean.

It looks a lot like the previous generation model, with a white tone that replaces the pale blue tone but, apart from that, there is no dramatic change here.

120 cm high, above is the handle and trigger (and also the upper part of the ordered cable support), then there is an aluminum post that is placed in the main unit.

That main unit consists of a window to the water tank, a basic 3 light screen for the modes and a button to change between these modes.

In the lower part are the rotating discs that simply press down to hold the microfiber pads, which Sharkninja calls ‘earth grips’. You will get four of these in the box.

The water tank is quite small, with a capacity of 350 ml, but, as I will explain later, it is enough to make a couple of rooms.

Shark’s automatic vapor and scrub traper is not a wireless machine: it will have to plug it into and the cable has more than 5 m long.

Characteristics and performance

In the tests, the steam blast did a short work of dry disorder such as ketchup, mustard, milk and even dry crunchy foods, which caused cleaning to be significantly in my home.

In more general use, the MOP works very similar to its predecessor. The 350 ml water tank must be removed and filled with cold water before use; There is no option to add a cleaning solution since the machine depends on the steam for the elimination of spots and the attack of bacteria.

While 350 ml is not much, I discovered that it was enough to clean my kitchen, the dining room and the hall of the ground floor, with the strange explosion on the route, with plenty of water.

There are three cleaning modes, light, normal and deep, so you can choose how you want it to work between different types of floors and spots levels. I simply tended to leave it deep all the time, because you only live once, huh?

Once igniting, tilt the handle back hires the steam and begins to the muds of the traperation that rotate at 150 rpm. In fact, you will feel that you move away from you when those pads begin to turn, creating a good feeling of sliding.

With a weight of only 3.4 kg, the shark navigates easily through the floors, which requires a minimum effort to maneuver and also has LED headlights that are useful to illuminate shale boards and under the furniture.

Its low profile design allows you to clean under the furniture, since it is basically placed flat, and it is good that it also remains vertical by itself, which makes it much easier to take a cleaning rest and then store later.

The microfiber pads collect dirt effectively, but should be removed after cleaning to avoid the accumulation of bacteria and bad odors; There is no elegant heating dock or anything like that.

I have been playing the pads in the washing machine after cleaning and they have been going well.

As mentioned in the introduction, the Shark steam and scrub automatic sprinkler does not collect the solid remains, so he must first aspire to his floors.

That differs from the Dyson Washg1, which is designed to address the humid and dry remains simultaneously without suction. However, that washg1 is twice the price (and a little more) of the shark.

Performance

  • Excellent to address difficult stains
  • There is no capacity to collect solid debris
  • Clean to the edges

I have done most of this automatic review of shark steam and scrub using the machine in my own home.

But, for a more technical review, we also tested it in the Candr Media Group test laboratory.

Starting with coffee spills, some passes in the light configuration raised the stainless stain of the laminated floor. The same was true for red wine spots, with regular steam and rotating pads that easily removed them.

For the most difficult disorder such as dry ketchup, we change to a higher power settings and use the steam blast.

A concentrated steam explosion, followed by a short wait, loosen the stain, allowing maps pads to clean it quickly. This was an impressive performance, which demonstrates the MOP’s ability to handle stubborn brands efficiently.

Then, we tried in a dry mud stain. While normal power configuration was sufficient to lift entrenched dirt, the lack of mirror suction meant that solid particles were pushed instead of collecting; Another reminder to empty first.

Finally, I checked its edge cleaning performance by applying mustard along a kitchen socket. The slightly elevated edges of the rotating microfiber pads made good contact with the edges of the floor, effectively cleaning to the sockets and in the corners.

With just over 51DB, Steam Spap S8201uk Steam & Scrub is exceptionally silent, producing only a low buzz of rotating pads and steam release.

Final thoughts

If you have a smaller hard floor area, the automatic shark vapor spot and steam steam stuff S8201UK is an excellent option. It is powerful, well price and incredibly easy to use, which makes it an outstanding option for rapid and effective cleaning, especially with that increase in steam on board.

However, since it is based on the MOP pads to collect earth, and there is no suction, its cleaning range is somewhat limited compared to the most expensive rivals.

But if it has a smaller hard floor area, and maybe it already has dust and debris approached by a robot cleaner, the shark steam shark and the steam automatic thicket is definitely an excellent option.

How do we try

When we publish our reviews, they may be sure they are the result of “living” with long -term tests.

Because we are testing a smart home kit all day, every day, we know what matters and how an intelligent cleaning machine is compared to alternatives that could also be considering.

Our reviews are integral, objective and fair and, of course, we are never paid directly to check a device.
