Ever Trend Zone Apple TV+ recently got into the habit of sending movies straight to stream, but this summer, Apple has a big budget blockbuster to hit theaters: F1. The official trailer has just debuted.
F1 trailer reveals the plot of Apple’s summer tent poles
Despite the recent success of Apple TV+ film debuts, debuts like The Gorge and Wolfs have certain films that Apple still wants to wager a big play.
F1 is this year’s Apple movie.
Starring Brad Pitt, Top Gun Directors: Maverick, Joseph Kosinski and Formula 1 have all of their summer blockbusters. At least that’s what Apple wants.
I’ve seen the teaser trailer and the Super Bowl commercial before, but now, a few months after the June 27 release of F1, Apple shared its first full-length trailer.

Called “Not before,” Sony Hayes (Brad Pitt) was the most promising phenomenon of F1® in the 1990s, until a truck accident almost ended his career. Thirty years later, he is employed for a nomadic racer when he approaches former teammate Reuben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), the owner of a struggling F1® team who is on the verge of collapse. Reuben convinces Sonny to return to F1® to save his team and come back for the final shot that he is the best in the world. He drives alongside Joshua Pierce (Damson Idris), the team’s hotshot rookie whose purpose is to set his own pace. But as the engine screams, Sony’s past catches up to him, realizing that in F1® your teammate is your fierce competition. And the road to red is not something you can travel alone.
After the F1 theatre run, Apple plans to debut the film on Apple TV+ later this year.
Previously, it was rumored that Apple had bid for streaming rights to F1, but so far nothing has happened. When the F1 Marketing Blitz begins, something more can be heard.
