Ever Trend Zone F1 movies are becoming Apple’s biggest film gambling to date. But if critics’ reviews are a sign of success, the bet could be heavily rewarded at the box office this summer. This is what the review says.
F1 movies have all the makers of great summer blockbusters with each review
Apple is primarily separated from theatrical film debuts, preferring to premiere new films directly on Apple TV+ instead.
However, there is one major exception. The F1 film will arrive at theaters on Friday, June 27th in the US and abroad two days ago.
In F1, Apple reportedly spent heavily on creating a typical, authentic Formula One movie.
Director Joseph Kosinski was a huge success in 2022 with Top Gun: Maverick. And now, Kosinski appears to have pleased another crowd with Brad Pitt’s incredible Formula 1 film.
F1 The film debuted with Rotten Tomatoes, with a strong freshness rating of 83% from 52 reviews.
Here’s a quote from the critic:
- Corridor: “F1 is an absolute explosion and one of the most exciting movies to come out this summer. It’s a film that puts you on the edge of your seat and makes you happy that filmmakers like Kosinski are making movies like this today.”

- Entertainment Weekly: “Formula 1 doesn’t rely on speed, movement, and dedication to visceral excitement.”
Overall, this sounds like the same kind of fun, thrilling summer hit that Kosinski pulled away with Top Gun, Maverick.
That’s exactly what Apple wanted. Now we just have to wait for how our audience reacts.
