Six ways to solve eco microphone problems
Amazon Echo has been around 10 years and the barking orders on a speaker or screen on the corner of their room have become completely normal, whether Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri.
However, it was not always a common practice to ask a speaker how the weather was going to be or add something to a shopping list. You used to have the news on television for the first and a role for the second.
However, despite all its fabulous attributes, occasionally echo devices find microphone problems, and the microphone is, of course, harmful to how Eco speakers and screens work.
It is a bit difficult for Alexa to do what he wants if he can’t hear his application after all. Fortunately, there are some easy corrections that could help if your Echo device has microphone problems. Here are some that are worth trying.
Turn it off and turn on
It sounds like something stupid, but often, turn off your echo and can again help solve microphone problems. It is not just echo devices, this is a common theme, and joke, in a lot of consumption technology. Do you have a telephone problem? The first thing you do is turn it on and turn it off, and it is not different for an intelligent speaker.
You will want to disconnect it completely, wait several seconds (it is recommended around 10) and then plug your echo again.
Press the silence button
All Amazon Echo devices have a wired microphone button (circle with the diagonal line) in them to allow you to turn off all microphones and make sure Alexa definitely does not listen to you by deciding what you should cook for dinner.
Find the microphone silence button on your Echo device and press to turn off your microphones. We suggest keeping the microphones off for at least a minute, after which you can press the button again to turn on the microphones and see if your problem has solved.
Voice profiles configuration
If you have tried to restart and restart and nothing is improving, it could be that your echo device only needs to listen and understand it better. For this, be sure to have configured voice profiles for the different people from their home.

Reposition your echo
Amazon Echo devices have distant field microphone matrices that allow them not only to listen to commands (when microphones are working), but where those commands come from. The blue light shows that its Echo device has heard it, and that light will be brighter and will point towards the direction from which it comes.
Even so, if your Echo device is struggling to listen to it, you may want to try to move it. Or gy it so that you face a different direction, or consider moving it completely.
Amazon recommends placing your echo device in the middle of the room, but that is not always practical. You should try to avoid it next to something that broadcasts environmental noise, however, be it an open window, a fan or the TV.

Restart your router
It may not be to blame that you are having problems. Alexa requires Internet: there is no magic on the device here, so if you have problems, you could try to restart your router.
Some Wi-Fi systems also allow you to prioritize devices, such as Google Nest, so if you really want your Amazon to have the best possible connection, you could prioritize your connection over others at certain times.
Restore your echo
If the good restart to the old one has not made the trick for you, nor any of the previous ones, it is possible that it should be a little more serious. You can try a factory restart that will return your device to the original configuration with which it came outside the box.
