
Marc Jacobs & Denim Tears updates tote bags
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Marc Jacobs collaborates with Denim Tears to launch a limited edition tote bag. This is a full-circle moment, considering that Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory began her fashion career at Marc Jacobs in 2006.

The accessory design features Denim Tears’ signature cotton wreath. It’s a powerful symbol that Emory describes as a “talisman for Black people” and a “call back to what built this country.”
In the campaign visual, model Awen Chol poses in a studio, with a tote bag taking center stage. Yohana Lebasi styles bold fashion by pairing her accessories with edgy corset tops, sleek leather jackets, and striking Kiki platform boots.
This is Jacobs’ ninth collaboration this year and is part of an ongoing series spotlighting iconic styles. It follows the Futura collection, which was launched last month.
