LupinePet Cat Safety collars feature a custom-designed breakaway buckle that releases under about 4.5 pounds of pressure. This can help a cat escape an entanglement situation, which can happen even to an indoor cat. The collar has a D-ring for attaching ID tags. Due to the breakaway buckle, this collar must not be used for leash-walking. Look for the LupinePet H-harness which is a secure walking harness for cats. Originals are made from jacquard woven nylon in an array of colorful designs. The pattern is woven into the webbing, rather than printed or sewn-on. Care: Machine wash, warm water, mild soap (no bleach or bleach alternative). Air dry. Lupine products are not recommended for tie-out.
