Smart Life APP pairing process:

Scan the QR code or search to download the APP (Tuya Smart and Smart Life). (for Android or iOS)To start pairing with the APP, turn on the plug and place it close to the router. Set your Wi-Fi to 2.4GWi-Fi for successful pairing)

Wait for the connection by pressing and holding the power button for 5-10 seconds until the light flashes quickly. Or try the second method, when the indicator light flashes quickly, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds, the indicator light flashes slowly, and the AP mode is available, waiting for the connection.

Note: When the socket changes the network environment, you need to restore the factory settings(unplug the socket from the socket and plug it in again, long press the power button for about 5-10seconds), and then reconnect to the network only 2.4Ghz WiFi is supported when connected with the APP. Suitable for household appliances with a maximum load power of 2000W, 10A, please check your appliance load before plugging in. Once connected, you can use your phone to turn on/off the smart plug anywhere via 4G or 5G, or Wi-Fi, always keep the smart plug within the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi range.

Tip: if the light doesn’t flash when you plug in the smart plug when you first connect, press and hold the smart plug’s button for 5-10 seconds to see if it starts flashing. If the smart device cannot connect to Wi-Fi, please long press the on/off button for 5~10 seconds to reset the smart plug or change the flash mode to a more compatible AP mode. Smart sockets only work with 2.4 GHz networks. If your router has both 2.4 and 5 GHz, use the app to select the 2.4 GHz network.

When connecting for the first time, please try to keep your smart socket as close as possible to the router, and you can change the location after the connection is successful.
