Season 2 Seth Rogen returns to Apple TV + comedy in August this year
The season finale for Apple TV+ Hit Comedy The Studio is scheduled to be released tomorrow. But it won’t take long until you can fill that Seth Rogen blank in your mind.
Apple TV+ has announced that season 2 of Platonic, a comedy starring Rogen alongside Rose Byrne, will debut on August 6th.
Platonic’s first season began in May 2023 and became one of Apple TV+’s top-rated shows. The show was co-created by Nick Stoller and Francesco Delbanco.
Here’s how Apple explains Platonic Season 2:
“Platonic” Season 2 will be picked up alongside everyone’s favorite best friends (Rogen and Byrne) as they are fighting new middle-aged hurdles, including work, weddings and crisis partners. The duo do their best to become each other’s rocks, but sometimes the rocks break things. Season 2’s cast also includes Luke MacFarlane and Carla Garro, featuring Ady Bryant, Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett as guest stars.
Apple says there will be 10 episodes in the second season of Platonic. The first two will be dropped on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, followed by weekly releases, with the season finale airing on October 1.
