Apple TV+ just wrapped season 2 of Silo, but the series has already been picked up for seasons 3 and 4. And the show’s creators have revealed the major visual changes to expect for the upcoming season.

Showrunners on Silo Season 3: “The Sun Will Come”

Modern TV shows sometimes have poor lighting.

Call this the “Game of Thrones problem.” That’s because some of the show’s most expensive and highly anticipated episodes were notoriously too dark for many viewers to see what was happening on screen, despite their huge budgets. is.

The first two seasons of Silo were pretty dark as well, with season 2 being particularly problematic.

But Silo creator and showrunner Graham Yost says in a new interview that things are about to change for Season 3.

**Contains minor spoilers**

Yost was asked if the season 2 finale’s cliffhanger hinted at a change in circumstances that will occur next season. He admitted that it was.

Matt Webb Mitovich writes: tv line Here’s Yost’s response:

“Yeah, we’ll be outside, we’ll be in the world, and there’ll be sunshine,” Yost said of the lighter parts of season three.

Having said that… Season 3 will “certainly bring us back to Silo 17,” he said. “And remember, they have huge power problems, so there’s not enough light.”

So, there is still hope for season 3.

The new season jumps back and forth between Volume 2 (following the characters introduced at the end of Season 2) and Volume 3 of the Silo trilogy, similar to how past seasons followed separate Silos. It is expected that the two stories will be interwoven.

So a good portion of the show should be much brighter and easier to watch than before. But we’re still going to see some darker scenes from Silo 17.

Was “Silo” Season 2 too dark to watch? Let us know in the comments.
