These are the perfect accessories for your new M3 iPad Air
In case you missed it, Apple has announced two new iPads, the M3 iPad Air and the new iPad 11th Generation. As the first users of iPads, these iPads will add to the excitement as they can gain even more power at a cheaper price range! Another great aspect is that these are internal upgrades. In other words, accessories that work with their predecessors will also work with these newly improved iPads. Here are some of the “must-have” accessories for the new iPad Air!
Before you dive in, below are the best pricing for the new M3 iPad Air and iPad 11. If you want to save cash, Amazon always has the best deals on your iPad.
This is my absolute favorite iPad accessory. It was released last year and was a classic for all desk setups. On the surface, it looks like a well-made magnetic stand on an iPad. But it has one trick on the sleeve, which stands out from the others. A pin connector has been added to the magnetic plate to allow for pass-through charging! It essentially turns your stand into a wireless charging stand for your iPad!
- Supports 18W fast charging
- 360 degree vertical rotation
- 90 degree horizontal adjustment
- The stand made from the aluminum alloy of CNC machine is built to withstand more than 100,000 times
- Fully folded for portability
The X33 stand has an option for iPads with pin connectors. What’s great is that the M3 iPad Air version also works with the M2 version! Available on their site and on Amazon for $89.

I love apple pencils and I know it’s expensive. The Pencil Pro is available for sale from Apple for $129 (with a few Amazon discounts). But for those who need a stylus pencil, and for those who are best to take notes for occasional sketches, to use it like a mouse pointer, the Jam Jake pencil is perfect for it. Approximately 95% of your Apple Pencil experience can be earned for just $19!
- Palm Rejection
- 1.5mm pen tip
- Magnetic connection to iPad (no magnetic charging)
- Pricing via USB-C
This is one of my favorite accessories for the iPad, not just the iPad Air. This simple dongle allows you to use your iPad as a dummy display on any device. I’ve made videos and posts about this in the past, so check it out here. This $20 dongle can be played on an iPad using Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Mac or HDMI, accompanied by the free app Orion. I used this as a portable display on my Xbox so I could adopt it on the go. I used it as a solo display for my MacMini. Be sure to watch the video below!
Like the Apple Pencil, I love the Magic Keyboard, but the new Magic Keyboard built for the M2/M3 iPad Airs starts at $269 for the 11-inch and $319 for the 13-inch. For such money, you can literally get the 10th or 11th generation of iPad. No company has been able to replicate the pin connector part of a magic keyboard, but many companies have been able to replicate Bluetooth designs and features. My current favorite is Typecase. The 13-inch version is available for $102, while the 11-inch version costs $99. So, at about a third of the cost, you get almost everything!
- RGB backlight key
- Full function line
- Multi-touch Trackpad Experience
- Pricing via USB-C
- Apple Pencil Holder
So if you’re looking for a magic keyboard alternative, this is the way to go!
A few years ago, Apple allowed it to connect to your iPad using a regular non-MFI certified controller. This was huge because it really opened up the market for iPad game controllers. I’m a huge fan of gaming on the iPad. Especially for more intense gaming sessions with the controller. One of my favorite controller manufacturers is 8bitdo. We create these unique retro controllers in all shapes and sizes to keep them extremely affordable. The best portable controller is the 8bitdo Zero 2. It’s small, compact, has all the basic buttons you need, and comes in three different pastel colors. The 8bitdo Zero 2 costs just $16.
Finally, you need to keep that big, beautiful screen clean. All Paperlike cleaning kits are perfect for this. The spray bottle and cleaning cloth are integrated into one piece, so you can’t lose the fabric! Remove the bottle from the protective case, spray it on the screen several times, then use the bottle’s microfiber lining to clean it. It’s that easy. This is the perfect gift for anyone with an iPad!

Final Take
As I mentioned, all of these accessories work on the “old” M2 iPad Air and also on the iPad 10th and 11th Gen! Therefore, check the compatibility of each product page. Tell us what you think about this list and if you own these! Do you want to get a new iPad? Which iPad do you get? Let me explain it below!
